THE BLUE FLOWER hits the education road:

KUTZTOWN UNIVERSITY, Kutztown, PA
College of Visual and Perfoming Arts Visiting Artists Program

Full-day "Dada workshop" with students in the fine arts department, including a lecture and 1-hour stage presentation with student artworks and volunteer peformers that was open to the public.

THE NEW YORK MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL Sept 14 - Oct 3

The Blue Flower has been chosen in a competitive juried selection process to participate in The New York Musical Theatre Festival's Next Link Project.

For the first time, THE BLUE FLOWER will be presented in its entirety, complete with film projections and the 10-piece WEIMARBAND live on stage. The production will be directed by WILL POMERANTZ.

Judges on the festival selection panel included 2004 Tony Award-winning producer ROBYN GOODMAN (Avenue Q), 2004 Tony Award-winning director/choreographer KATHLEEN MARSHALL (Wonderful Town), the 2004 Tony Award-winning writing team of JEFF MARX and BOBBY LOPEZ (Avenue Q), Broadway star RAOUL ESPARZA and director SCOTT SCHWARTZ. Featuring hundreds of events from performances to seminars, The "NYMF" festival was created to give Manhattan an event dedicated to discovering new music theatre works and creating an environment in which promising new artists and challenging new work may be nurtured.
